Elliott Sober and David Sloan Wilson have published a provocative book Unto Others, Harvard Univ. Press, 1998.
In this, they try to argue for the significance of group selection; and they also try to clarify the evolution and psychology of altruism.
Here, I will present a couple of their basic models, with my illustrations.
However, it is controversial whether or not their models are applicable to the evolution of human morality.
